Who are we?
Leeuw is founded by a Dutch, Yemeni and Indian national, representing a broad set of experiences and with a wide reaching network.
After we identified a need for a dependable and reliable international medical treatment agency, we decided to start Leeuw International Care.
This allowed us to serve international patients with transparency and with their best interest at heart.
To achieve this we will use our expertise to manage the Indian system and overcome unexpected obstacles while you focus on your health and recovery.
In most cases, we will be able to work directly with trusted partners with whom we have an agreement, which allows us to best protect the rights of our clients.
Through substantial experience with international patients, we are able to provide reliable and holistic guidance on all stages of the process.

Our services
For clients in need of treatment, but also for medical professionals
During medical procedures
We will guide you through the medical procedures, arranging the consultations with physicians and the prescribed tests. We will be with you during the hospitalisation process and during and after operations. If you require additional therapy or medication, we will also be able to assist. If you wish, we can be present during consultations to translate and to ensure effective communication and aid your understanding of the suggested treatment. Due to having established partnerships with hospitals, we will be able to arrange competitive prices for your treatment.
Assisting with logistics and planning
When still in your country, we will arrange a call with an Indian doctor so you can get a first impression and share the details of your ailment. In order for you to get your treatment, we will assist with the medical visa application process, organising the flight and finding accommodation to your preferences. Once in India, we will provide transportations to and from hospitals and clinics and we will also be at the airport to welcome you.
Online services for medical professionals
Leeuw uses telemedicine (medical service through technology) to delivery health care, for example by organising conference calls between doctors and hospitals in India and doctors abroad to facilitate information sharing on the latest medical practices and technologies.
For critical cases, telemedicine enables the provision of a diagnosis and the necessary treatment. A specialist in India is able to observe an ongoing surgery online and can guide and instruct a foreign doctor.
Hands-on services for medical professionals
We organise consultations for which Indian medical professionals visit hospitals abroad for the purpose of advising patients in their home country, enabling a diagnosis to be made and a treatment to be suggested. With this service we aim to improve healthcare locally, especially in locations without regular access to medical care.
We also offer a service to organise medical conferences during which Indian and foreign medical professionals can meet face to face and discuss the latest practices and technologies and to exchange experiences and knowledge with a focus on preventative care and health education.
Client focused service
Due to our extensive experience in the field, we have seen plenty of examples of unfair treatment of patients. Some unfair methods we have observed are the exploitation of patients and unnecessary price increases.
Due to this, it is our mission to do our utmost to protect you against these malicious practices.

Frequently occurring
treatments
India offers all possible medical fields and thus you are able to come to India for any medical need under the guidance of Leeuw. However, the following type of treatments we see especially frequent. Many oncology patients come to India to undergo surgery, remove a tumor or receive chemotherapy. Many patients also travel to India to receive organ transplants like kidneys or heart valves. We have also guided many patients with heart conditions or those requiring heart repair after a heart attack. Patients traveling for joint replacement like a knee are also common. Patients suffering from a neurological condition also come to India for treatment of spinal injuries or to help with the aftermath of a stroke.

where do our clients come from
Leeuw International Care is an Indian registered company and we are headquartered in Bangalore. We have also founded branches in Sana’a in Yemen, Muscat in Oman, Ryad in Saudi Arabia and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Future plans include branches in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Djibouti. The majority of our patients therefore come from these countries but we have also served European patients and patients from the United States. If you prefer to be treated in a country other than India, Leeuw will be able to assist you in your preferred country.
